Casino
Holdem is the casinos version
of Texas Holdem and uses the
same theory played a standard
game of poker except your object
is to beat the dealer, not another
player. The game is played using
a single standard deck of 52
cards. Players who are familiar
with Texas Holdem will have
no problems playing this game
as the hand rankings are exactly
the same. Although this is a
popular game found in most American
land based casinos, it is just
as popular at US
online casinos.
The benefit to playing it online
is you can play for free allowing
you to practise the game first.
Casino Holdem Bonus Bet
If you play Casino Holdem online
at a US casino or even in Vegas
you will see that there two
areas in which you can place
your bets. The Casino Holdem
bonus bet, also referred to
as a AA bet, is a side wager
allowing you to place a second
bet that your hand will at least
hold a pair of A’s or
more in order to qualify for
the bonus payout.
Rules for Casino Holdem
Before you can begin playing
you will be required to ante
first. If you’re playing
online from the US, you will
see an ante box. To bet simply
click the dollar amount of your
bet followed by clicking on
the Ante circle. Once bets have
been made you will receive 2
cards face up and the dealer
will take 2 cards face down.
He will than deal three cards
face up known as the flop. The
cards placed in the middle of
the table are called community
cards and will be used by all
players, including the dealer
to make the best possible 5
card hand.
After the flop has been placed
on the table, the dealer will
than give you the opportunity
to place a bet, equal to the
amount of the initial wager
or fold. If you choose to fold
you will lose all bets made
thus far including your bonus
bet. If you choose to bet your
hand, the dealer will than provide
a 4th community card, known
as the turn followed by another
round of betting. Once that
round is complete the final
and 5th community card will
be placed on the table.
How
to Win in Casino
Holdem
In Casino Holdem, the dealer
only wins if his hand holds
a pair of 4’s or better
using any one or both of his
hole cards and community cards.
If the dealer's hand is anything
less than this it won’t
qualify and the dealer will
pay the player according to
the payout chart, plus receive
their bets back.
If
the dealers hand qualifies and
beats your hand based on the
poker hand rankings, the player’s
bets will be lost except for
the bonus bet. If the player
and dealer tie their hands,
the hand is declared a push
and just like Blackjack the
player receives their bets back.
The player will still receive
a payout based on the chart
for their initial bet plus a
1:1 rate on the call bet.
